September 22 “Rose Day” celebrates at Harshamitra Cancer Centre & Rose Garden Charitable Trust

Rose Day is observed in the memory of 12 years old Melinda Rose From Canada, who was diagnosed with Askin’s Tumor, a rare form of blood Cancer. Doctors predicted that she will not survive more then a couple of weeks, but she lived six months more. within that short period, she successfully cheered up other cancer patients and the care givers with her letters, poems, and emails. Rose Day is observed to make all cancer patients aware that they can face the disease with strong will power and spirit.
Harshamitra Super Speciality Cancer Centre & Rose Garden Charitable Trust celebrated the Rose Day for cancer patients on September 22nd 2017. This event was specially dedicated to rekindle hope in the life of cancer patients.
The Cancer Patient who took treatment at Harshamitra Super Speciality Cancer Centre and got cured now, visited the patients who are undergoing treatment now and gave them positive hope, and clarified doubts regarding treatment side effects.
The Meeting started off with the Welcome Address by, Dr.Govindaraj, Founder of Harshamitra Super Speciality Cancer Centre and Trustee Of Rose Garden Charitable Trust. Mrs. Usha, District Social Welfare Officer, Trichy was the Chief Guest and addressed patients and relatives. Dr.P.Sasipriya Govindaraj delivered the vote of Thanks.
As we know that a blooming Rose amidst the throns, a patient’s life suffering from Cancer and Undergoing treatment is no different. From this, Harshamitra helps the cancer patient’s lives bloom into pretty flowers.
The Rose Day celebration thus inspired our patients and lifted them out of an abyss to rekindle hope in their life. They ere encouraged by the fact that they are not alone in their battle against cancer.
